Specifically, Waypoint principals provide advice in the following areas: Valuation Services Waypoint professionals have performed numerous valuation engagements ranging from fairness opinions, estate tax preparation, ESOP maintenance and transaction structuring. In each enagement Waypoint looks at the value of a company from several different perspectives. Most typically, we utilize Discounted Cash Flow Analysis, Comparable Public Company Analysis, Private Market Transaction Multiples and Asset Based Approachs. If necessary, Waypoint provides a complete write-up on the Company and the results and interpretation of each valuation approach that led to the determination of value. Outside of its specific uses for determination of fairness or for IRS reporting reasons, a valuation project can provide a company with valuable perspective of how they are preceived in the market. In addition, Waypoint councils clients on strategies to increase value based on the results of our analysis. The key data that is compiled on competitive and comparable firms as part of the valuation process provides insight to industry benchmarks and targets for our client companies to work toward. Situation Analysis A Situation Analysis is a customized review of specific elements of a company for the purpose of providing impartial and objective analysis of the current situation.
