Thorough our expertise with the USDA’s Rural Development programs, we have developed a unique blend of Advisory Services to professionals working in local and regional economic development (“ED”) agencies, as well as the companies they serve. These ED Advisory Services are offered through a unique public/private partnership arrangement between Waypoint Private Capital and the ED agency. Some of the key issues we address with ED officials are:
- Understanding and clarifying the strategic initiatives of the ED agency in providing value to the business community, and in fulfilling the mission of the agency. We assist in helping the agency adjust either of those sets of goals if necessary.
- Development of a plan to bring other public and private groups into the process
- Effective communication of the strategic initiatives of the agency.
- Creation and implementation of a business education series for communicating best practices to business owners in the region
- Assist the ED agency in targeting businesses that can generate economic growth in the region
- Creation and implementation of a group consulting process for delivery of customized but affordable advisory services to business owners
- Implementation of our suite of our advisory services to qualified individual companies
- Creation of knowledge data base from all activities
