Mike is a Managing Director of Waypoint Private Capital, Inc. bringing 20 years of financial advisory, banking and consulting experience with mid-market and large organizations across the country. Prior to joining Waypoint, Mike was a Managing Director with InvestLinc Private Capital, LLC, a regional private equity fund and merchant banking group. Specifically, Mike managed regional private equity funds comprised of a network of experienced business men and women, offering portfolio companies unique access to expertise, intellectual capital and broad relationships within their particular industry. Mike oversaw equity placements and the ongoing portfolio management of the $25 million fund. Prior to joining InvestLinc, Mike spent three years in the Financial Services division of DiamondCluster International, responsible for managing, developing, and delivering management consulting engagements aimed at improving profitability with regional and national banking clients. Mike has experience in commercial and investment banking through positions at Bank of Nova Scotia and Duff & Phelps, LLC. Mike was engaged in managing portfolios of corporate credits, executing M&A assignments, capital raises, and valuation engagements. Mike was responsible for managing deal teams and executing transactions for primarily mid-market, privately-held organizations nationwide. While in the Corporate Recovery Services Practice at Price Waterhouse, Mike participated in over 30 bankruptcy and turnaround engagements, representing both creditor and debtor constituencies, and working with companies ranging from mid-market manufacturers, to multi-billion dollar corporations. Mike earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business, and a BA in economics from Denison University. |
