Randy Laney – Randy is the Chairman of the Advisory Board for Waypoint Private Capital, Inc. and brings deep operational expertise and financial structuring experience as a result of a several year career in senior roles at some of the countries largest organizations. Currently, Randy is Chairman of the Board of The Empire District Electric Company, a private investor and through his firm, Laney Advisory, assists select client groups with strategy and capital requirements.
Randy spent 23 years with Wal-Mart, as Vice President and Treasurer, Vice President of Finance, Benefits, and Risk Management, Director of Finance, Corporate Counsel, and in other roles. He also served as President, CEO and Chairman for Rally’s Hamburgers, a 600-unit restaurant public chain, and as Executive Vice President and CAO for FLAGSTAR, a KKR-controlled, $3 billion public restaurant company.
Randy is the founder of Mercari Technologies, Inc., a merchandise optimization solutions company, which he led as CEO and Chairman. Most recently, Randy was the Vice Chairman of the InvestLinc Group and President of the Private Equity division at InvestLinc Private Capital, LLC. Prior to InvestLinc, Randy founded Bentonville Associates, a targeted private investment and services firm that engaged in strategic advisory work and investment activities, through board seats and capital advising services. Bentonville Associates is an outgrowth of Bentonville Associates Ventures, an investment company focusing on consumer product companies and retailers, which Randy also founded. Both entities merged with InvestLinc in 2003. Randy holds a J.D. and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas.

Randy Meier - Randy is a member of the Waypoint Advisory Board, bringing 30 years of entrepreneurship, business operations, and business development. Randy is currently President and CEO of Canvas Corp. and Outdoor Water Solutions, Inc., and Signed Sealed & Delivered, companies operating in the manufacturing, distribution and retail markets. Prior to selling the company in 2004, Randy and Christine owned and operated a 400 employee manufacturing and distribution business in the crafts industry. Randy graduated from the University of Arkansas with a B.S. in accounting, and is a CPA having began his career with Coopers & Lybrand.
